The beach pavilion behind Town House Furniture and Appliances along Sugar Dock Beach in Chalan Kanoa is sporting a new look—spanking new tiles that give it a finished and clean look.
The Saipan Centennial Lions Club, which has adopted the pavilion and has committed to its upkeep and beautification, recently added tiles to the table and benches of the pavilion.
In an email to Saipan Tribune on Thursday, the club’s immediate past president, Arceli Lizama, highlighted that it was club members Rolly Bermiso, Mario Buela, Juanito Sarmiento, and Ricardo Ortiz who spearheaded the project. Lizama further shared that she and club vice president Ruth Reyes supervised the project.
In a separate email, current club president Maria Javier said she “would like to extend her [utmost] gratitude to all members who contributed their talent, time, and service to the community.”
