SAEF students do it again

(Contributed Photo) Sixth, 7th, and 8th grade students of the Saipan American Education Foundation School won in the National Junior Forensic League competition held on Nov. 11, at the Saipan Southern High School. Winners include the following:

* 1st place, Original Oratory: Candice Aldan

* 1st place, Poetry A: Candice Aldan

* 2nd place, Prose A: Miki Takayama

* 3rd place, Prose A: Eden Conner

* 3rd place, Duo A: Sophiana Sablan and Keziah Gonzales

* 4th place, Duo B: Eden Conner and Miki Takayama

* 5th place, Duo B: Kristine Fajardo and Avelyne Alvarez

On Nov. 19, Saipan American Education Foundation students took home several ribbons from the Primary Grade Forensic Competition held at the San Antonio Elementary School. The winners’ list include:

KINDER 5- 2ND GRADE DIVISION:

* 1st place, Reader’s Forum-A: Elizabeth Bonto, 2nd Grade

* 1st place, Reader’s Forum-Master’s A: Vladimir Palma, 2nd Grade

* 1st place, Choral Speaking: Elizabeth Bonto, Amy Rayn Soliman, Alianna Sublemente, Christian Troy Rosimo, Derrick Sese

* 2nd Place, Reader’s Forum-B: Alianna Sublemente, 2nd Grade

* 4th Place: Reader’s Forum Master’s A: Amy Rayn Soliman

* 5th Place, Duo A: Laurence Abad and Vladimir Palma

3RD TO 5TH GRADE DIVISION:

* 1st Place, Dramatic Interpretation A: Deirdre Rosete, 4th Grade

* 1st Place, Reader’s Forum-B: Jeggier Labao, 5th Grade

* 1st Place: Reader’s Forum Master’s B: Deirdre Rosete, 4th Grade

* 1st Place, Impromptu B: Qian Ling Na Xiao Xiao, 5th Grade

* 2nd Place, Reader’s Forum Master’s B: Myka Kassandra Villegas, 5th Grade

* 3rd Place, Choral Speaking: Rejenemhay Jingco, Aaron Pascua, Jeggier Labao, Christian Aldan, 5th Grade

The school also had one winner in the MathCourt for 6th-8th Grade Division, Miki Takayama, who won first place in the competition held at Chacha Oceanview High School. (SAEF)
