WASHINGTON, D.C.—Delegate Gregorio Kilili C. Sablan (Ind-MP) took the oath of office along with 439 other members of the U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday.

Sablan begins his fifth term as the representative of the people of the Northern Mariana Islands in Congress.

Accompanying the congressman for a ceremonial photograph with House Speaker Paul Ryan at the U.S. Capitol were James Fleming, Edith Deleon Guerrero, Edz Villagomez, Regina Kautz, Bernard Cabrera, Andrea Sablan, Jude Marfil, Beberty Bacani, Edward Pangelinan, and Robert Schwalbach.

Sablan placed his hand upon the Bible first given to him for this purpose in 2009 by the Rev. Tomas A. Camacho, now-retired bishop of the Diocese of Chalan Kanoa.
