To boost its fundraising efforts, the Rotary Club of Saipan will be selling the remainder of the first Christmas CDs it produced last year.

Past president and current International Service director Glen Perez said they still have 650 copies of Christmas in the Marianas, which features 15 original and cover holiday songs in Chamorro, Carolinian, and English performed by artists from Saipan, Tinian, Rota, and Guam.

The Rotary Club of Saipan released a total of 2,000 copies of the Christmas CD, which were pressed in the Philippines and sold last year at $15 each.

Secretary Laila Boyer said at their general membership meeting on Tuesday that they will sell the remaining copies for $10 apiece.

“By the power vested by the president, he unilaterally gave us the responsibility to sell the remaining Christmas CDs we have,” said Boyer, adding that the proceeds will go “directly to our account.”

Boyer noted that they will distribute 10 CDs to each Rotarian who will be required to sell them.

To purchase the CD, contact any of the Rotarians, email saipanrotary@gmail.com or place your order through the Rotary Club’s Facebook page.
