Rotary elects officers for 2012-2013

The Rotary Club of Saipan unanimously elected yesterday its new set of officers for 2012-2013.

Incoming officers next year are Pete Shilling, president; Laila Boyer, vice president; Richard Cody, secretary; Yosh Gabaldon, treasurer; Jay Santos, Club Service director; Curtis Dancoe, Community Service director; Kelley Butcher, Vocational Service director; Pete Igitol, International Service director; Glen Perez, Foundation Service director; and Jeff Boyer, New Generation Service director.

Wayne Gillespie will be sergeant-at-arms emeritus.

Gabaldon, Santos, Butcher, and Boyer accepted to serve in the same position for another year.

The incoming officers, who will be inducted next year, will serve from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013.

Meanwhile, the group will be holding its annual Christmas party with the theme “Christmas by the Sea” on Dec. 20 at the Hyatt Regency Saipan. Rotarians are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy which will be donated to the Salvation Army.

The group will convene again next year.
