The Rotary Club of Saipan delivered pre-packed meals to the Aging Center in Garapan yesterday as part of the celebration of Thanksgiving and the meals were later distributed to the homes of the man’amko.

According to Rotary Club of Saipan president Sonya Dancoe, “Our man’amko are special. They guide us in life with their wisdom and we want to wish all our man’amko a very special Thanksgiving. In times like these, we must stay positive, live in the moment, help one another and protect ourselves as we head into the holiday season.”

Speaking on behalf of the Rotary Club of Saipan, Dancoe thanked Aging Center director Walter A. Manglona and all his staff for their help and for taking good care of the elderly.

“I would like to give a huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Saipan for thinking of our elderly during this holiday season,” said Manglona. “It is always nice to see community members keep our elders in their thoughts and prayers, especially during these challenging times. I am always hopeful that things will get better for everyone. Acts of kindness such as this truly help keep our spirits alive.” (PR)
