Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help for a kidnapping incident that occurred at Tops Store, Dandan to Chinatown.

On Feb. 15, 2015, at about 2:20pm, DPS Central received a call for a reported robbery and kidnapping. Police learned from the victim, a local female age 41, that after shopping at the Tops Store located in Dandan village, she got into her car (blue four-door Nissan Frontier pickup truck) and proceeded to back up. A male suspect, described as tall, white complexioned, clean-cut hair, wearing camouflage pants, blue slippers, with a tattoo of a cross on his right hand, jumped into the passenger seat of the victim’s car.

The suspect put a knife on the victim’s neck and told her to drive. The victim drove from Tops Store in Dandan, to China Town. During transport the suspect robbed the victim of $70 cash. As they made a turn by the Aging Center near Gold’s Gym, the suspect removed the knife from the victim’s neck and was looking for something in the back seat. The victim managed to open the passenger door and push the suspect out of the car.

The suspect held onto the seatbelt while the car was still moving and dragged him several feet. The suspect may have injuries on both his feet as a result of the incident.
