Registration now open for Xavier high entrance exam
All current eighth graders in the CNMI who are interested in attending Xavier High School–Micronesia are encouraged to take the official entrance exam at 9am on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, at the Maturana House of Prayer on Upper Navy Hill.
Registration is mandatory for all exam-takers, and will close at 12am on Sunday, Feb. 13. To register, visit https://forms.gle/iRG3ER51heLUPoLd9
All registered individuals are encouraged to arrive at the exam site by 8:30am to sign in prior to taking the exam. A valid photo ID (e.g. school ID, state ID, or passport) and a $10 registration fee (cash only) will be required upon sign-in.
They are likewise encouraged to bring two sharpened No. 2 pencils, an eraser, and a calculator. The use of pens and mechanical pencils are prohibited, as well as devices, such as, but not limited to, cell phones, laptops, smartwatches, and tablets.
The exam will be timed and will contain two sections: English and math. Individuals taking the exam will have 90 minutes to complete each section. A brief intercession will be allotted between both sections. Individuals taking the exam will be prohibited from leaving the exam room during the exam.
The 3Ws (wear a mask, wash your hands, and watch your distance) will be enforced on-site. Further exam rules and regulations will be communicated to exam-takers on-site prior to taking the exam. Non-compliance of exam rules and regulations, as well as COVID-19 protocols, will result in immediate dismissal.
