Registration for NMC’s regular summer session begins June 11

Registration for the Northern Marianas College’s upcoming regular summer session will begin on Monday, June 11, 2012, and will continue until Wednesday, June 13, 2012. NMC’s regular summer session will run from June 14 to Aug. 10, 2012.
This eight-week semester is ideal for students who need one or two courses to graduate, or for new and ongoing students who want to lighten their academic load during upcoming semesters. This is also ideal for college students from the U.S. mainland who are visiting the CNMI for the summer and want to complete some courses before returning.
New students are must take the placement tests before they register. The schedule for the placement tests and the summer 2012 class schedule can be found online at www.nmcnet.edu.
Those who have not applied for admission can still do so by visiting the College’s Office of Admissions and Records and picking up an application form. Application forms can also be downloaded from the NMC website.
Application for admissions will be accepted until the last day of registration provided that placement tests have been taken.
There is a $25 fee for each of the placement tests that must be paid in advance at the NMC Cashier (Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 4pm). Students who have a fee waiver must obtain a placement test slip from the Office of Admissions and Records prior to taking the test.
