Register to Play in NMC’s 2023 Golf Open

Northern Marianas College is inviting all golfers to play in its 18th Annual NMC Foundation Golf Open. Interested players can now register and pay online at www.marianas.edu/golf.
NMC’s tournament will be a two-day event and will be held on March 18 and 19, 2023, on the East and West Courses of the LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort. The tournament fee for the 2023 golf open is $250.
The tournament, which is the signature event of the NMC Foundation, aims to raise funds for the College for its rebuilding and reconstruction efforts. Despite the devastation and destruction of Super Typhoon Soudelor and Yutu, the College has been aggressively seeking funds from all available sources to rebuild classrooms, offices, labs, and workforce spaces for the CNMI community.
There will be six separate flight categories: Championship, A, B, C, Seniors, and Ladies (Low-Gross and Low-Net). There will be a number of great prizes and awards to players and sponsors. Slots for the tournament fill up fast, so interested players are encouraged to register early.
The college is asking companies, organizations and individuals who are interested in sponsoring holes and/or for any in-kind or cash donation to help support the CNMI’s post-secondary institution. For more information on how to become a sponsor, call 237-6780. (PR)
