Register for NMC’s fall semester at Thursday information session
Northern Marianas College is inviting individuals who are interested in furthering their education or advancing their professional careers to attend its information session on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017.
The information session is open to all prospective students and community members. The session, which will be held from 5:30pm to 6:30pm in Room D-1 at the college’s As Terlaje campus, will also allow participants to register for classes immediately after the event.
The topics that will be discussed include the college’s degree programs, Prior Learning Assessment program, financial aid, and other initiatives.
Participants will also qualify to have their application fee and their placement test fees waived for the fall 2017 semester, a savings of about $75.
NMC faculty, staff, and students from the different degree programs at NMC, as well as Student Services representatives from counseling, financial aid, and admissions, will be on hand to answer questions.
NMC offers several degree and certificate programs, including a bachelor of science degree in education (emphasis in elementary education, early childhood education, special education, or rehabilitation and human services), bachelor of science degree in business management; associate degrees in business administration (emphasis in accounting, business management, or computer applications), liberal arts (emphasis in education, health and physical education, and social work), nursing, natural resources management, criminal justice, and hospitality management.
