Share

There will be reduced water service hours in the As Terlaje, Chalan Laulau, Middle Road and Beach Road up to the Gualo Rai Intersection areas from 6am to 12pm daily until April 5, 2018.

Reduced water hours began yesterday morning. Regular water service hours will resume on April 6, 2018, as scheduled below for the following areas:

-As Terlaje, Chalan Laulau (Beach Road) from the Atkins Kroll intersection to Gualo Rai Road: 24 hours

-Chalan Laulau (Middle Road) from Transamerica to Gualo Rai Road: 6am to 12pm

The purpose of the reduced water hours is to allow CUC’s contractor to disinfect and fill the new NMC water tank. This project is part of the Northern Marianas College 1.0-million-gallon Tank Replacement Project funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Completion of the project will provide a more reliable water system. (CUC)
