The community is invited to the 32nd Annual Red Cross Walkathon this Saturday.

The event, organized by the American Red Cross NMI Chapter, encourages healthy living and raises funds for the chapter’s operations and projects.

Each student who raises $75 on their pledge forms are eligible for a pass to the new Pacific Islands Club Saipan Waterpark, Subway’s F’real shakes, a McDonald’s Arch Card worth $5, and free drink from The Shack.

Any individual who donates $20 to the walkathon will receive free shirts designed for the event by Tribe Marianas.

During the walkathon, community members can avail of services such as blood pressure checks and immunization. The community will also be treated to live cooking demonstrations, bounce houses, carnival games, face painting, and a military vehicle show.

This will also be the first year that the walkathon will have a booth dedicated to adopting stray animals.

The walkathon will be held at the Guma Sakman (4-H) Building in Susupe at 6am. Interested walkers can sign up to walk 10K, 5K, or 2K.
