Cyril Song is featured in this Q&A special advertising feature where the Greenstay’s sales executive director shares what the company has to offer to the island community.

Q: What is your position here in Greenstay?
A:
My name is Cyril Song, sales executive director of Greenstay, Skywalker Holdings Company.

Q: Can you give us more detailed information about Greenstay?
A:
Greenstay is a new company that was just established after the devastation of Typhoon Soudelor. Our goal was to help the people of the CNMI whose houses were affected by the Typhoon. We wanted to create a more comfortable living condition for the community, and to provide houses that are safety for the families who live in.

Q: Greenstay houses adopted new technology; can you make further explanation about the technology?
A:
Usually the houses that are built here on Saipan are either fully tin, semi-concrete, or fully concrete houses and usually the houses are really hot inside, especially concrete houses. But the houses we provide are steel frame modular houses that are quick to assemble. What’s more, our houses use PU foam, which insulates the temperature making the house much cooler than the houses you would see in the island saving you more money.

Q: What are some challenges Greenstay is facing now?
A:
The problems we are facing were the challenges when we tried to get the appropriate insurance company and banks that would help support our company with the newly innovative technology we use. But luckily we were able to find Pacifica Insurance that would insure our houses. And we have Bank of Saipan and First Hawaii Bank providing the right financial statements for those interested in the houses.

Q: Now that the Second Showroom is available for the public, what’s the reaction from the public?
A:
We have tons of people visit our showroom, some of them rent an apartments, others might live with their relatives or friends, so they are eager to build their own houses. Among the coming visited clients, mostly they really like the 4-bedroom because of the space and layout of the house.

Q: How many clients do you guys have now?
A:
More than 5,000 people visited our showroom overall including those who visited our very first showroom and more than 200 people signed the home ownership scheme.

Q: As far as I know, you guys offer 50 limited units, how many remain and why only 5?
A:
We only have 50 units because these houses are a once in a lifetime opportunity to have, which is very affordable and quick assembly and comes fully furnished with a couch, bed, dining table, etc.

Q: When will you close up sales of these houses? Is there a deadline?
A:
We will close the showroom on Aug. 15 because we will start assisting our clients to go through the bank and all the paper works, so that we can hope to see the first Greenstay houses during Christmas holidays.

Q: As the sales executive manager, is there any story you want to share when you sell the house?
A:
Yes, I have plenty to share. As the sales manager, I have a lot of clients. We are actually good friends. There is this client who really likes our Greenstay houses and is so eager to live in the house. He would follow up on the process every day for a very long time, like in the morning he texts me and in the evening he texts me for the updates. I have a sense that I am closely related to my clients and very responsible to deliver the houses to them as soon as possible.

Q: What is the follow up with the previous clients?
A:
We will start escorting our clients to the banks and help them with the necessary paper works so that they are ensured a spot of the 50 units available only.

Q: What is Greenstay doing to attract more people to the Second Showroom?
A:
We have been doing tons of advertisements in the newspaper, radio station, and most especially Facebook letting the public know about who and what Greenstay is.

Q: What can you say is the best feature in the house?
A:
The houses we offer are all customizable to meet our client’s various needs. Like the color of the houses and even the type of furniture you would like to match for your own house.

Q: What would you like to say to those who haven’t heard about the Greenstay house?
A:
Please feel free to check us out at our Greenstay showroom located at Middle Road in front of the Ironwood or like us on our Facebook, CNMI Greenstay, or simply call us at 1 (670) 484-6719.
