The CNMI Public School System Instructional Technology Endorsement Program Cohort #2 has completed their yearlong training. The training involved five courses worth 45 hours each and yearlong CITW with Technology.

The incentives for completing the training are MacBook Air laptops, tools, resources, and software to be used in the classroom.

Instructors for courses include Andy Kerr of McREL, Instructional Technology, Program coordinator Jeaniffer Cubangbang, and Cohort 1 participants who completed the program. They are building capacity within CNMI PSS and raising student achievement.

PWT data has shown an increase in technology use by students and the teachers who participated in the Instructional Technology endorsement program, as compared to those who didn’t.

Due to the latest training’s success, PSS next school year will offer four cohorts the same opportunity. (PSS)
