Prepare to write your novel

Share

November is National Novel Writing Month. Want to write your novel? Need a deadline to make it happen? NaNoWriMo is perfect for this! Hopeful novelists can sign up online at www.nanowrimo.org.

But more importantly, and more locally, hopeful novelists can join in novel-writing prep sessions in October at the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library. Sessions are 10am to 12pm on Oct. 6, 13, and 20 at the VTC room. Each session covers different topics presented by Jane Mack. There is a sign-up sheet at the library.

There is no charge for these sessions. And no charge for NaNoWrimo, either.

There will be a book raffle (No Plot? No Problem! by Chris Baty) at each prep session for hopeful novelists who attend.

Write your novel in November.

And then, after November, when you have your novel draft ready, you can work on getting it published!

For more information, contact Joeten-Kiyu Public Library or janemack@itecnmi.com. (PR)
