Young Younger Youngest
Prelude stanza B. Dylan’s Forever Young:

may you grow up to be true
may you always know the truth
and see the lights surrounding you
may you always be courageous
stand upright and be strong
and may you stay Forever Young.”
Opus #1 to # 4
YOUNG Dumb and Full of Numb
teen years some numb to death’s reality
fearless wise guy filled with adventure
awareness of Mother Nature’s duality
guilty in confessional of thoughts impure
YOUNGER Than That Baby Fat
playground round and round in a whirl
as high up as I can get on the swings
interest grows between boy and girl
gluttonous consumption of sweet things

third boy in a row from Ma I know
she had 5 Cesarean births in all
fun with brothers and sisters in the snow
sometimes scared to walk down the hall
YOUTHFUL Years Gone in a Flash

Sisters of St. Joseph and Mercy were the ones
CODA by Bob Dylan
“Look out the saints are comi’n through
and it’s all over now Baby Blue.”
