Power outage scheduled for Upper Dandan

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. has schedules a four-hour power interruption on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, from 8am to 12pm in Upper Dandan, from the San Vicente traffic light (former Round House location) to Domar Store, the entire Upper Dandan Homestead, and Hawaiian Rock to Obyan/Santa Margarita Place. All the Obyan wells will be affected by this power outage.

The purpose of this interruption is to replace the rusted hardware on power poles.

Because of the scale of the work that will be performed, travelers are asked to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the affected areas. CUC apologizes, in advance, for any inconvenience resulting from these projects and the power interruption. (CUC)
