Power outage on Saipan tomorrow

There will be a scheduled power interruption tomorrow, Tuesday, April 11, 2017, from 3pm to 5pm, to allow line crew of the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. to safely replace a rotted primary power pole in China Town along Komiti Ave.

This is part of an ongoing maintenance program to strengthen and harden the integrity of the power distribution system throughout the island.

Areas to be affected: China Town (Commonwealth Dr., Uruwow Ln., Congress Ln., World War Two Ln., Legislature Ln., Linao Ln., Nimitz Ln., Speaker Ln., Komiti Av., Judge Wy., Matsue St., Husga Av., Director Ct., Chamber Ct., Senate Av., Sugar King Rd., Village Ln., Covenant Ln., Politic Ln., Freedom Drive., Convention Pl., Justice Pl., and Saina Pl.)

Travelers are urged to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the affected areas.
