Power outage in Kagman Saturday

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. will conduct a scheduled power interruption on Saturday, June 6, to replace key components on 27 power poles in Kagman.

At 8:30am, CUC will temporarily interrupt power service to a portion of Kagman II, which will affect CUC customers in the vicinity of Alageta Rd., Achoti Av., Abas Dr., Talisai Ave., Bilembines St., Neri Pl., Sereguidillas Pl., Suni Ln., Granada Dr., Tupu Ln., Dokdok Dr., Lemmai Wy., Kamachili Av., Abuchuelas Pl., Mostasa Pl., Fioles Pl., Monggos Pl., and Hasngot Dr., as well as the KG-7, KG-8, KG-9, and KG-15 water wells.

The temporary service interruption will provide CUC Power personnel safe access to replace rusted saddle pins, cross-arm bolts, and wood braces on each of the 27 primary power poles in Kagman 2 on Alageta Rd. Replacement efforts are expected to take up to four hours to complete, at which time power will be restored to the area.
