Power interruption today

Share

There will be a scheduled power interruption today, May 7, from 9am to 12pm to allow Commonwealth Utilities Corp. line crew to replace a rotted primary power pole in Chalan Kanoa.

This is part of an ongoing maintenance program to strengthen and harden the integrity of the power distribution system throughout the island.

Areas to be affected by today’s power outage are Chalan Kanoa (Casilda St. and Anita Ave.). No water well or wastewater lift station will be affected.

Because of the scale of work that will be performed, CUC asks travelers to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the affected areas.
