Power interruption on Saturday

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. would like to inform the public that there will be a scheduled power service interruption on March 5, 2022, from 6am to 12pm affecting Chalan Kanoa Beach Road (from LF Market south toward I-Zone in Chalan Kanoa).

The first momentary outage is from 6am. to 6:30am, affecting Chalan Kanoa Beach Rd. (Mt. Carmel Cathedral, Chalan Kanoa Dr., Konsolacion St., Brigida St., Carmen Av., Bernardo St., and Barbara Av.).

This will be followed by another momentary outage from 11:30am to 12pm, affecting Chalan Kanoa Beach Road (Mt. Carmel Cathedral, Chalan Kanoa Dr., Konsolacion St., Brigida St., Carmen Av., Bernardo St., Barbara Av., Surf Club Restaurant, Sandy Beach Homes, San Isidro Ave., Juan Nong St., Hamalap Ln., Alupyang Pl., Atuhong Pl. and Hopwood Middle School).

These outages will allow CUC to replace a 45-foot wooden primary pole with a concrete pole and replace the air brake switch to a non-conduit type operated ABS along Beach Road fronting the Villagomez building in Chalan Kanoa.

No water well or wastewater facility will be affected.
