Police officers arrested a man after they discovered two trucks and a go-cart—all alleged stolen—as well as several marijuana plants during a search at a house in As Gonno last week.

Department of Public Safety spokesperson Jacqueline Rae said Monday night that Antonio B. Sablan Jr. is currently detained in the Department of Corrections for failing to post $50,000 cash bail.

Rae said officers from the DPS Highway Patrol and the Criminal Investigation Bureau executed a search warrant on the house last Tuesday at 6:18pm.

Rae said during the search, two trucks, one go-cart, and several marijuana plants were discovered and seized.

Sablan was arrested without incident at 6:30pm that same day in connection with the stolen vehicles and marijuana.

The DPS spokesperson said police have already notified the victims.

A source said police are looking into possibility that Sablan was also involved in other cases of theft of vehicles, in which parts had been dismantled and eventually sold.
