‘Pinoy Super Dad’ is now ‘Pinoy Super Man’
The United Filipino Organization is renaming its “Pinoy Super Dad” competition into “Pinoy Super Man” due to the contestants being not really committed to the program.
“We are not going to push with the Super Dad contest. Most of them are shy and also we are having a hard time fixing all the schedules for the series of rehearsals due to their work load,” UFO president Annamae Adaza said.
Adaza said that UFO has decided to change the title and the age bracket for contestants.
“It is open to all Filipino males with ages from 18 to 35 years old,” Adaza said.
“We are looking for at least 12 contestants and we are encouraging companies to at least let their employees join the contest, knowing that these employees will feel more confident if they have their company’s support,” she added.
The contestants will be competing in the following categories: production number, talent portion, formal wear, and question-and-answer portion.
Prizes are $800 for first place, $500 for second, $300 for third, $200 for fourth, and $100 for fifth.
Adaza said they are also looking for donors and sponsors who wish to help out.
The first general meeting and orientation will take place be today, Friday, at the Saipan Music and Dance Studio in Garapan at 7pm. The agenda will include discussion on the competition’s rules and regulations.
“Please come so you will get the first hand information and details of the contest, so it will help you decide whether the contest is for you or not,” Adaza said.
