Pink Petals Beauty Salon has sprouted in Garapan to cater to the beauty and pampering needs of the community.

Admin officer Jeferson Banciles said the business was borne out of owner Rizally De Leon Joson’s fondness for keeping herself presentable at all times.

Pink Petals opened just last Jan. 12 and offers a plethora of services like haircut for both men and women, nail spa, nail manicure and pedicure, and hair and make up for children and adults for bridal, debut, birthday party, and for many more occasions.

They also blow dry, perming setting and permanent perming for small, medium, and long hair, hair treatment, hair rebond, brazilian or botox, hair bleaching, and hair coloring.

Banciles said what sets Pink Petals apart from other beauty salons on Saipan is its unique ambiance, professional beauticians who are all willing to advise and help, and its cleanliness and accessibility in the Garapan area.

“We know there are many beauty salons here on the island, but we have hired professional and expert beauticians from the Philippines. They have the know-how to meet the appropriate solutions especially in treating and fixing women’s hair since our climate here in the island is different and our water is from the sea.”

Their current staff include beautician Rollie James Tajos and Rizel Naguiat.

Tajos was the beautician of choice for 2021 Miss Universe Philippines Top 50 Mytimyles Zaragoza, 2022 Miss Teen International Philippines candidate Cariza Nuel Finn Pono, 2022 Hari ng Pilipinas candidate and Bench model Ken DianDian, and 2021 Miss World Philippines candidate Aura Shaznay

Naguiat has three years of experience in the cosmetology field in the Philippines before coming to Saipan.

Banciles added that Pink Petals will also soon add an expert barber who was trained by no less than famed Filipino hairstylist Ricky Reyes himself, “so that he can share his knowledge and style in cutting hopefully and he will arrive in the middle of 2023.”

He said the Josons named the business Pink Petals because of island women’s fondness of usually putting flower petals in their ear that symbolizes the purity and stability of a woman.

To celebrate its opening, Pink Petals is offering 50% off on all its services every Saturday and Sunday. It is also offering free hot tea to all customers.

Pink Petals is located beside V-Lynn’s BBQ along Dama de Noche St. in Garapan. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9am-6pm. For more information or to book an appointment, call (670) 285-8958.
