Delta Air Lines has come aboard as one of the sponsors for the PIC Saipan Hafa Adai 5K that will hit the road on April 26.
“Delta Air Lines is pleased to sponsor the PIC’s Hafa Adai 5K event which will benefit the Salvation Army. We encourage the community to partake in this worthy cause. This fun-filled occasion is a welcome addition to the many sporting events hosted by the PIC. We wish the organizers the best of luck,” Delta Air Lines sales executive Chris A. Concepcion said.
Delta Air Lines has not only offered a round trip economy ticket to Japan as a raffle prize, but also has gone above and beyond by offering incentives to the first 50 finishers.
The first 50 finishers will receive Delta travel credit vouchers worth $75.00 to $300.00 off published fares to Asia and the U.S. Certain conditions apply.
“This is a great incentive for families and friends to join this amazing event,” PIC operations and events manager Dennis Tababa. “My whole family will be joining. I just hope they all finish in the Top 50 so we can go to Japan for a big discount.”
The PIC Hafa Adai 5K will have participants passing through four coloring stations along the 5K route. Volunteers will celebrate each participant’s arrival with a splash of blue, yellow, pink or red colored cornstarch. This biodegradable and non-toxic mixture will have participants laughing all the way from station to station.
‘We wanted to host an event where everyone could join. This amazing incentive prize from Delta is just one more reason to join,” PIC SEA director Glenn Policare said.
Entry forms are available at the PIC Front Desk and at Saipan Shell Stations. Entry fees are only $10 and the first 500 paid entries will receive a free limited edition event shirt. Proceeds from the race will go to the CNMI Salvation Army.
