PIC hosts voter registration

Pacific Islands Club Saipan hosted its first voter registration drive yesterday to encourage PIC employees to register to vote for this year’s election in November.

Employees were also encouraged to bring in their friends and family members who have not been registered, to take advantage of this opportunity.

Three staff members from the Commonwealth Election Commission assisted the employees with completing their application for a Voter’s I.D.

PIC has a total of 41 unregistered voters who are employed with the hotel. A total of 28 employees were able to register for this year’s upcoming election.

For those employees who weren’t able to register, PIC will assist them by either taking the employees to the Commonwealth Election Commission office or to one of the hotels who will be conducting the next voter registration drive.

The election register clerk, Jenna Dyn Borja, said that they will be conducting more voter registration drives with the other HANMI member hotels. (PR)
