The Pacific Islands Club Saipan held its first job fair on Thursday at the Napu Room.

Nhing Reyes, PIC’s financial controller and human resources executive, said the event was an excellent chance for the community and students to check out the available job opportunities at the resort.

According to the job fair pamphlet, “if you think hospitality is just about checking guests in and out of the hotel, you will be pleasantly surprised to discover the diversity of choices the industry has to offer…the possibilities are endless and becoming a member of the PIC team is just the beginning.”

Over 40 job-seekers attended the fair, many of them young students looking to jumpstart a career in the hotel industry.

PIC’s team is composed of individuals from over 20 countries around the world.

According to Reyes, PIC hopes to make the job fair an annual event.

Available job opportunities included front office and guest services, call center and reservations, engineering, maintenance and facilities, food and beverage, and retail and gift shop.
