Dmitry Kulikov, Far East Russia’s most popular travel photographer, opened a new photo exhibition on March 24, 2017, in Russia featuring exclusive images of the Marianas.
The #LetsTravel to the Marianas exhibit features photos of Rota, Tinian, and Saipan taken by Kulikov on a familiarization tour organized by the Marianas Visitors Authority last year. The exhibit opened in City Mall, the largest shopping and entertainment center in Yuzhno-Sakjalinsk on Sakahlin Island.
“Kulikov has over 60,000 followers on Instagram from all regions of Russia, so the exposure opportunity is great,” said MVA managing director Christopher A. Concepcion. “This is an excellent partnership with him, and what better time to entice Russians with images of paradise in the Marianas than during winter?”
Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk is one of the major gateway territories to the Marianas from Russia since Asiana Airlines operates an office there and promotes connecting flights to the islands.
The exhibit was attended by Asiana staff, major travel trade partners, major local media, and members of the public. The exhibition will be open until April 24, 2017. (MVA)
