Philippine Airlines, Triple J join HANMI sponsors list

The list of hole-in-one prizes for 15th Annual HANMI Charity Golf Classic Tournament continues to grow as Triple J Motors pledged a 2016 Mazda 3 Hatchback and Philippine Airlines donated two round-trip tickets from Saipan to Manila.
These prizes and more will be up for grabs at the tournament set for this Saturday at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort.
“We thank Philippine Airlines and Triple J Motors for their support of the charitable activities of HANMI provided for by our annual golf tournament,” said tournament chair Paul Park. “We’re looking forward to a great event next Saturday and encouraging everyone to register on or before the early bird deadline on June 15 as registration is filling up quickly.”
Other hole-in-prizes include $20,000 from Century Tours, a 2016 Toyota Yaris Hatchback from AK Toyota, $10,000 from Pacifica Insurance, a round-trip airline ticket to anywhere Asiana Airlines flies, $10,000 worth of one-year personal accident insurance coverage from Century Insurance, Chivas Regal from Titan Imports and Samcorp Imports, and a Samsung S7 from IT&E. Numerous prizes including hotel stays and other gift certificates will be raffled at the event awards ceremony.
Registration forms are available at www.saipanhotels.org, as well as at Laolao Bay Golf & Resort, Mariana Country Club, Pacific Islands Club Saipan, Fiesta Resort & Spa, and Hyatt Regency Saipan. Early bird tournament fee is $110 for payments received by 3 pm June 15. The fee includes green fee and the awards banquet. The fee increases to $130 after the early bird deadline. For an additional $30, players may also compete in nearest to the pin, most accurate drive, and most accurate drive circle hole contests. The tournament will start at 7am.
The tournament format is Blackjack Double Peoria. Winners of the first to fifth place will each receive $500 and a hotel room night stay at HANMI member hotels; sixth to 10th placers will each get $300 and a dinner gift certification; and the 11th to 15th finishers will take home $200 and a lunch gift certification. Five consolations prizes of $100 each will also be awarded to the golfers. (PR)
