PHI Pharmacy now carries a full line of free vitamins after making available Century Adult and Century Mature to CNMI residents for free recently. It previously introduced children’s and prenatal vitamins for free to the public.

“We’ve been offering free multivitamins for children and prenatal vitamins for women. Now, we’re excited to introduce the last two free multivitamins in our Supplement Program. The Century Adult vitamin is a general adult vitamin for any adult and the Century Mature vitamin is our 50+ formulation for those who are 50 years of age or older (man’amko),” said PHI Pharmacy general manager Joshua Wise.

The Century Adult vitamin is a “great vitamin” for any general adult, men or women, 49 years of age and younger. This vitamin can be used in older children/teenagers (13 years and older) if they are comfortable swallowing tablets, according to Wise.

The Mature vitamin, meanwhile, is geared more toward those who are 50 years and above with a formulation that emphasizes people’s specific needs as they get older.

Wise said it’s easy to enroll in PHI Pharmacy’s Supplement Program as you just need to drive down to any of their three branches on Saipan and staff are ready to assist you.

“We only ask for the name and birthday of the person needing vitamins so we can log what we gave you a punch card. If you do not have a file with us, we will create one for you. Identification is not required. Just bring your punch card back every month and get your free vitamins. Our Supplement Program aims to be able to provide basic multivitamins to help improve nutritional requirements and this program is available to everyone regardless of citizenship,” he said.

PHI Pharmacy’s two other free multivitamins have been out for a while now. The children’s vitamins are for children between the ages of 2-12 years of age. Children 2-4 years of age will take one vitamin tablet daily while children 5-12 years of age will take two vitamin tablets daily. Prenatal vitamins are a nutritional supplement to use prior to conception, during pregnancy, and for postnatal (lactating and non-lactating women).
