Pena House burglarized
Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help for a burglary and theft incident that occurred at Pena House, a clothing department store located on Beach Road, Chalan Kanoa.
On March 2, 2015, at about 5:50am, police responded to the burglary and theft incident at Pena House. It was learned through witnesses and surveillance cameras that the suspect was caught on tape committing the crime. The suspect is described as a local male, light complexioned, about 5’4 to 5’6″ tall, approximately in his late 20s to mid-30s, wearing a light-colored baseball cap backwards on his head, with a mustache, possible short goatee (beard on chin), light-colored shorts, skinny at about 130-140 lbs, with short hair, and with a dark colored backpack strapped to his back.

The suspect stole a black first generation iPad valued at over $350 to $400 and over $60 in cash. The back door locks were damaged and so was the cash register. The alarm system went off at about 5:45am. The alarm system company was contacted and so were the police. The suspect was in and out of the store within five minutes.
