PDN circulation dries up on Saipan

The Pacific Daily News has not circulated in the CNMI reportedly for the last several years, due to costs in shipping.

PDN operations manager Bill Windham said, “Currently, we do not deliver to Saipan.”

“…Because of shipping it became too expensive,” Windham explained.

He said he is not a hundred percent sure on the date when circulation ended but pointed to longer past last year.

Other PDN circulation staff said services were discontinued to the CNMI around two to three years ago.

The Pacific Daily News is a morning edition newspaper based in Hagatna, Guam, and is published seven days a week. According to its Facebook page, they are published and distributed throughout Guam, the Mariana Islands and Micronesia.
