PDM Promoters continued their beautification efforts at Saipan’s central tourist district last Saturday, collecting 1,060 lbs of garbage.

A total of 10 staff members from Kinpachi Restaurant and 25 members of the Saipan Awaodori Team came together to remove the brush and debris along Paseo de Marianas, Coral Tree Avenue, American Memorial Park, and Beach Road.

The non-profit group’s coordinator, Sonia Siwa, shared that the trash collected were composed mostly of beer bottles, cigarette butts, Styrofoam cups, plates, and aluminum cans. The group also did some bush cutting along the Paseo area.
