Parked car robbery

Crime Stoppers is seeking the community’s assistance for information on a burglary and theft incident that occurred on a car parked outside a residence in Chalan Kanoa.

On Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, around 6:30am, police learned that a blue 1989 BMW four-door sedan had its car window smashed and car stereo stolen. The victim, a 46-year-old Filipino male, parked his car outside his residence behind Bolis store in Chalan Kanoa around 5:30pm the day before. About 6am, the victim’s landlord discovered the broken window to the car and reported the incident. The items stolen include a car stereo, subwoofer speaker, amplifier, and a toolbox set. The estimated value of the stolen items is over $900.
