Pardz eases past Docomo Pacific

Pardz Ballers came out victorious against Docomo Pacific, 75-61, during their make-up game in the 2019 One Pacific Promotional Basketball League last Wednesday at the Civic Center Court.
Pardz Ballers played a better offense in the first quarter to take a 19-12 advantage and padded its lead as the game progressed. Pardz also employed tough defense on Docomo, resulting to several steals, which the winning team managed to turn into baskets.
What Pardz Ballers lacked in size, in comparison to its opponents, the team made up for with agility with Lucky Jose and Joseph Torres running from one end of the court to the other to score on fastbreak plays. Jose showed the way with his 21 points, while Torres contributed 14.
Shane Deleon Guerrero had 22 for Docomo, while Tony Diaz chipped in 19.
In another make-up game last Wednesday, Mawati was ahead of RNV Construction after two quarters, 46-34, when the game was cut short due to the weather.
Jerome Directo and Paul Quizon teamed up for Mawati in the first half of the game after scoring 9 points each.
Rueda led the way for RNV Construction after logging 11 points, while Andy Mortos and Randy Odicta had 8 points each.
