Pajarillaga is FilTaga’s March Ace

Albert Pajarillaga won the third monthly Ace tournament of the FilTaga Golf Association held last Sunday at the Kingfisher Golf Links.

Pajarillaga shot 48s on the front and back nines for a gross score of 86 and with a 16 handicap, he earned a 70 net to beat closest pursuer Mike Cruz, who finished with a 76 (49-43, 16 handicap).

Pajarillaga now joins Jess Yumul (January) and Dan Ganacias (February) as monthly champions and got one of the slots to the group’s year-end tournament.

Ten other FilTaga members joined the monthly tournament with Ronnie Santos coming in at third with a net 78 (50-42, 14 handicap).

Ruben Avendano (79), Edgar Abalos (80), John Matsumoto and Manny Po (81), Raffy Piamonte (82), Ganacias and Ernie Lopez (83), Yumul (85), and Paul Bea (88) were the other FIlTaga members that competed in last weekend’s event.

Bea earned the closest to the pin honors at No. 3, while no one won at No. 8. Pajarillaga was the closest to the pin winner at No. 12 , while Avendano duplicated the feat at No. 15.
