Pairs Football Club made it two in a row after edging the Old B Bank, 1-0, in the Division A game in the 2019 Spring Men’s M-League last Sunday at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.

Bruce Berline scored the lone goal in the match in the 75th minute to give Paire a 2-0-1 record. The Hawaiian Rock-backed Paire dropped its season debut (losing to All Blue, 2-4) last Oct. 3 and quickly bounced back with a 9-2 demolition of Korean Football Association on Saipan last Oct. 6. The Old B Bank, on the other hand, absorbed its second defeat in as many games, as it was also nipped by TanHoldings, 3-2, during the league’s opening week.

The Paire-Old B Bank tiff was the only Division A match played in Week 2 of the competition.
