Pagan Island Conference on Oct. 3

The Pagan Island Conference is scheduled to be held on Oct. 3, 2014.

Titled “Preserving the Planet for Posterity through Partnerships: The Pagan Preferred Alternative, ” the educational outreach conference on the environment invites the public, especially high school and college students, residents of the Northern Islands, environmental agencies and departments, community groups concerned about the environment, and the business community, as well as the press to join in the “pushing-of-the envelope” conference.

Presenters and organizers are Hawaii environmentalists, students at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, the University of Guam, the Guahan Coalition for Peace and Justice, the Northern Islands Mayor’s Office, Military Affairs MIMC, and Save Pagan Advocacy.

The conference will be held at Fiesta Resort & Spa. Presentations begin at 7:40am, with a lunch break from 11:55am to 1:15pm, and a closing panel discussion beginning at 4pm.

The conference will be streamed live throughout Saipan, Tinian, Rota, Pagan, Guam, Hawaii, Japan, Korea, and Okinawa.
