Pacifica offers TOC golfers $5K hole in one prize

Add $5,000 more to the already impressive list of prizes that may be won at the 24th Annual Governor’s Tournament of Champions.
Pacific Insurance Underwriters announced yesterday that it is participating in the golf tournament by sponsoring the large cash award as a hole-in-one prize for this weekend’s two-day tournament.
“Proceeds from the Governor’s TOC fundraiser golf tournaments have been used toward countless beautification projects throughout the CNMI,” said Shirley Sablan, president and general manager of Pacifica Insurance. “Let’s continue to support its good cause.”
“The Tournament of Champions credits its long-standing success to the generosity of companies like Pacifica Insurance,” said Ben Babauta, tournament director.
Other hole-in-one prizes are a new 2019 Mazda CX-5 Sport and a 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross donated by Triple J Motors, a Nissan Frontier donated by Joeten Motors, one year free golf donated by Laolao Bay Golf & Resort, among other prizes.
The 24th Governor’s Tournament of Champions will be played at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort’s east and west courses on Aug. 10 and 11, 2019. The TOC tournament fee is $200. (PR)
