“A part of the island community for many years, Hyatt Regency Saipan has consistently extended support to those in need. We’ve seen the countless good deeds the organization has taken part in. Pacifica Insurance is pleased to partner with Hyatt Regency Saipan for their 21st charity golf tournament, and we encourage our business community to do the same; share in the commitment to support meaningful causes,” said Norman Tenorio, president and CEO of Pacifica Insurance.
With over 45 years of business experience, Pacifica Insurance Underwriters, Inc. is a well-establish insurance broker agency with a mission to provide the best coverage and service that exceeds expectations for both personal and commercial insurance needs.
A business visionary, Jose C. Tenorio worked alongside initial developers of equal entrepreneurial spirits and determination and organized investors formulating a corporation known as Pacifica Insurance Underwriters, Inc. in the early 1970s; an opportune time where the CNMI economy was thriving. Representing some of the world’s most distinct insurance carriers locally, PIUI offers an array of insurance options that can be tailored to a client’s potential insurance needs. Under its current president Norman T. Tenorio, PIUI strives to go beyond providing insurance coverage with their clients offering a level of customer service beyond expectations.
“Pacifica Insurance is consistently active in the community, and, extremely supportive with charitable events. We appreciate their continued support with our fundraising efforts for our 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic. It’s through their involvement in charitable events that make our efforts that much more successful and notable. I would like to extend our gratitude to Norman and the Pacific Insurance team,” said Hyatt Regency Saipan general manager Nick Nishikawa.
Grown in popularity over the years from being a fun golf tournament for Club At The Hyatt members to an island-wide charitable event; this year the Hyatt Regency Saipan Charity Golf Classic turns 21—a special year that most either remember or don’t for the same reasons.
All proceeds donated to the Hyatt Regency Saipan 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic will go to the event’s six beneficiaries to include: Make-A-Wish Foundation, aiding them in their mission to grant wishes to children with life-threatening diseases; Kagman High School Million Dollar Club, supporting CNMI high school students in preparation and travel to higher education; Marianas Behavioral Health International a rehabilitation center dedicated to provide support for those who want to make a positive change in their lives; Karidat Social Services, a local organization supporting the needs of the community; Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation, which assists impoverished women and children of the CNMI; and the Northern Marianas Humanities Council with a goal to focus on supporting the education of indigenous cultures of the CNMI.
