Pacifica Insurance holds annual art contest

Pacifica Insurance Underwriters, Inc. will be holding its annual Pacifica Art Contest to ring in the upcoming holiday season. The contest will give individuals a chance to express their creativity and artistic skills.
The contest is open to individuals between ages 6-17 years old. It will be divided into two categories: Category 1: ages 6-11 and Category 2: ages 12-17. All entries will be required to create an original art piece depicting the slogan “Rest assured, it’s Christmas.” Allowable mediums include watercolors, oil based paint, pastels, crayons, and/or pencils. Dimensions must not exceed 18” x 24”.
Art pieces must be submitted to Pacifica Insurance’s office located in Susupe by Sept. 16, 2016 at 3pm. Submittals must be in original state and indicate full name, age, school name, mailing and email addresses, and telephone number.
Artwork will be judged based on creativity, quality, theme, and presentation. The panel of judges will include: Tribe Marianas creative director Rob Travilla, Tan Holdings vice president of logistics Alex Sablan, and Quinn Consulting, LLC owner Kanae Quinn.
Winners will be announced on Sept. 30, 2016. Cash prizes will include $200 cash and a gift basket.
