Pac-Chain is holding a fundraising softball tournament this weekend at the Capital Hill Ballfield.

Proceeds raised from the event that will run from March 23 to 25 will go to help support the organizers for the upcoming CNMI Labor Day Softball Tournament, which will be held this year for the second time in Boise, Idaho.

Entrance fee in the fundraiser is $125 per team and the first 12 squads to pay in full will be allotted slots.

The tournament will follow a double-elimination format with a modified coed rule where at least two female players must remain on the field and in the lineup at all times.

Prizes are up for grabs but have not yet been determined.

An organizational meeting will be held today at 5:30pm at the conference room of the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium

This is the second fundraising tournament hosted by the group, which left Natibu with the top prize the first time around.
