Hyatt Regency Saipan has received over $3,000 worth of cash and in-kind donation from platinum sponsor and business partner Bank of Guam in support of the upcoming 23rd Annual Charity Golf Classic.
The donation from Bank of Guam will aid this year’s beneficiaries: Make-A-Wish Foundation of Guam and CNMI, 500 Sails, NMI Rollers Basketball Association, Isla Montessori School, and 4H Marianas.
Bank of Guam VP/CNMI regional manager Marcie M. Tomokane said the bank of Guam decided to participate in this year’s charity golf classic to echo Hyatt Regency Saipan’s desire to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation Guam/CNMI and local organizations.
“Hyatt has pledged that portions of the proceeds will go toward the Make-A- Wish Foundation, which Bank of Guam has supported directly over the years because of its focused cause to make each year one special child’s wish and dreams come true.
“To us, this year’s focused fundraiser is extra special and we support those endeavors. We are pleased to sponsor your fundraising for your continued support to the community,” said Tomokane.
Nick Nishikawa, Hyatt Regency Saipan general manager, said the foundation of the company’s employee charitable organization, Hyatt Thrive, “is built on the understanding that through actions large and small, we have a big impact on the lives of the people in our communities. Our [golf tournament] allows us and our business partners to directly impact our community.”
