Over 100 Koblerville residents were able to avail of free medical services at the medical mission the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) hosted Sunday afternoon at the Hannam Supermarket parking lot.

The mission, held as part of the celebration of the church’s 20th anniversary, provided free services such blood sugar and blood pressure checks, facial cleansing, haircuts, and massages. Reading glasses and bags of toiletries were also given away.

“We are very thankful for this mission to help us to improve and maintain our health in good condition. I find this very helpful,” said John Cabrera, who lives in the area.

Another community member, Albert Peralta, expressed gratefulness for the medical mission, and hopes that the church continues to support and help others.

Members of the PMMC and Magic Touch Salon’s Rhea Cauzon all volunteered for the event.

PMMC pastor Claire Javillonar said they were overwhelmed by the number of people who came to the mission.

“We would like to thank all the volunteers, Hannam’s Market for the venue, giveaways and refreshments for the volunteers, and the people of Koblerville who took time to go there and receive and be blessed by all the free services we offered.”

The next medical mission will be on Nov. 24, Sunday, 2pm-6pm, at the Minachom Atdao Pavilion in Kilili Beach in Susupe, in celebration of Thanksgiving Day.
