Outlawz joins Predator on top of A Division

Sister teams Sand Juvy Outlawz and Predator had contrasting results in the 2014 Saipan Electronic Darts Association Bud Light Dart League, but both teams did enough to share the top ranking in the A Division after last week’s games held in various bars on the island.

The Outlawz thrashed Naked Fish Riin’Darrty, 14-3, to grab the lead after Week 3 in the 10-team field in one of SEDA’s premier divisions.

The Predator, however, dropped a 9-8 decision against the 101 Proofers but had enough wins that allowed them to join the Outlawz on top of the standings.

Both the Outlawz and the Predator hold 45-23 slates, while Naked Fish is close at third with a 43-25 card.

In other A Division results, Bud Brothers scored an 11-6 win over Comatose, the Hunters cruised to a 13-4 triumph over the Mixblood Shooter, and the Sakude! had an easy 13-4 victory against the Mafia.

The Jokers Destroyers widened its lead over closest purser and sister squad TRA-Bull Makerz after an 11-6 trouncing of Sand Juvy Shoot Balut in the Masters. The Jokers edged the Master Outlawz, 9-8, in the other pairing.

In other division results, the Jokers X-ecutioners and Dabarkads pulled off similar 8-7 wins over Smoke Pub Dartaholics and D’Mekaniks in Tuesday B, while the Route33 MixbloodShooter 2 ripped the Sand Juvy Sparkz, 12-3. Marupok edged High on Darts, 9-6, and the Snipers tripped Fearless, 10-5.

The Sand Juvy Vicious Darties, Naked Fish Dartin’ Divas, and the Smoke Pub Mixed Nutz defeated their respective rivals in the Ladies class, the Jokers Kitty Kats (10-5); Smoke Pub Ladies Bull-It! (9-6); and Route 33 Avengers (8-7).

Joe’s DNA Jump It!, Jokers Disciples, and Blue Koi’s pulled off 8-7 wins over the Sand Juvy Ta Chagi, Smoke Pub Snipers, and VFW ‘Ombak’ Hit’em Up to lead the Chichirika C Division winners. The Barcode Breakers pounded Smoke Pub Bull-It, 11-4, while Poseideon Feelin’ Lucky clipped the Jokers Spartans, 10-5.

In the Kingfisher C category, the Jokers BSEA Sunsports and the Route 33 Chagi Fan!!! scored 10-5 wins over the Naked Fish Hafa Mas and the Oleai Rebelz, while the Dark Knights blasted the Darty Minded, 11-4.

The Route 33 Mixblood Shoters 3 dumped Sand Juvy No Fear, 12-3, to lead the Fanihi Thursday B division winners. D’Mekaniks mauled the 80 Proofers, 11-4, while the Bud Kings squeezed out an 8-7 decision over the VFW Warriors and Put3ska tripped Jokers Chagi Fan, 9-6, to remain on top at 43-17.

In the Thursday Flame Tree B, the Jokers Warriors and Sand Juvy Team Dart Balas scored similar 9-6 wins over Naked Fish Ridin’ Darrty and Joe’s Serial Killaz, respectively. Na’Gupu escaped with an 8-7 victory over Oneshot, while Jonny’s Kyodai stomped past Team Figan, 13-2. (Jon Perez)
