Opening of Emon Lodge 179 caging pushed back

The Emon Lodge No. 179 Brotherhood League will not be opening this Saturday, as organizers are still finalizing the schedule of the competition.

League secretary Bong Malasarte said they will meet at the Armatech office today to discuss details of the league, including the new kick-off date.

So far, nine teams have already registered to play in the tournament that will be held at the Koblerville Gymnasium. Kensington Hotel Saipan, Kanoa Resort, Pacific Island Club Saipan, Armatech, MJD, Blue Haus, Pegs/JWS, CelPro, and Saipan Postal are the teams competing in the league.

Each squad is allowed to have 15 players with 10 members must be in the 40 or above age group and five in the 39 and under. Teams are requested to turn in their rosters and choose the color of their jerseys. Players, on the other hand, must provide a copy of their filled-out wavier and registration forms before they are allowed compete in the league.
