NRCS seeks partners in the region

The Natural Resources Conservation Services under the U.S. Department of Agriculture is looking for partners in the Pacific region.

NRCS is looking for help in conservation projects and is willing to fund those projects.

Projects will be approved from eligible individuals for research activities located in the Pacific Islands area.

NRCS expects projects to be implemented under the program to be worth $800,000 for fiscal year 2019.

NRCS will accept applications from any entity who can demonstrate knowledge, skills, and ability in conservation planning.

Participants must submit their project proposals by Aug. 3, 2018 to Douglas.Maguire@hi.usda.gov.
