The World Travel Fair judges select and award “the best travel destinations, the best hotels, the best airlines, the best travel routes and the best tourism service” to destinations and services noted to be delivering high quality products to the tourism industry and consumers.

“We’re very happy to receive this recognition for Best Island Tour Destination from the World Travel Fair experts,” said MVA marketing manager Bruce Bateman. “Being recognized as outstanding at one of the biggest travel shows in Asia shows us we are on the right track by improving our islands’ tourism attractions. It helps potential visitors choose between a number of competing destinations and will likely bring an even bigger surge of arrivals from Mainland China to the Northern Mariana Islands,” said Bateman.

The selection was made by an advisory board composed of experts from the government, the tourism industry, travel sites, and travel media. (MVA)
