Northern Marianas Descent Council meeting

All persons of Northern Marianas descent are invited to attend a general membership meeting of the Northern Marianas Descent Council on Saturday, July 13, 2019, starting at 11am, at the Leadership Kiosku in Chalan Kanoa across from the U.S. Post Office.

This is the final meeting to sign and approve the council’s constitution and bylaws and corporate charter before filing them with the Registrar of Corporations.

“Everyone is encouraged to join and participate in this historic event. This is our time to give a voice to the people of the Commonwealth who are of Northern Marianas descent and begin to fulfill the promise of the Covenant and our Constitution regarding and public lands and the benefits derived from these lands,” said the group’s organizers in a statement yesterday.
